Hazleton Area Networking Association
Purpose and Overview

Hazleton Area Networking Association meets every Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at Antonio's Breakfast World, located at 1348 North Church Street in Hazle Township.

HANA is a structured business networking group designed to help local professionals grow through consistent, high-quality referrals.

Our members don’t just meet, they actively look for opportunities to help each other succeed.

If you’re looking for a proven system to generate business and build strong local relationships, you’re in the right place.

Only one representative from each profession is allowed to join so it gives you an edge over your competitors.

HANA teaches members that networking is more about farming than it is about hunting. It is about developing relationships that result in referrals for each other.

Increasing and maintaining your word-of-mouth-based business depends on the HANA process of members educating each other about what they do and what kinds of referrals they want. Our success as a group is tied in with your success in business.

Membership Structure

HANA membership dues are $120 per quarter, which covers the cost of room fees.

Individuals are invited to attend three meetings free of charge as a guest to see if the group is the right fit for you.

Once you choose to become a member and are accepted into HANA, the registration fee is due at the first meeting. Dues are colleted quarterly (January, April, July and October) or you can choose to pay a one-time annual fee.

Attendance and Participation

Attendance is one of the most critical aspects of HANA. If you can't attend a meeting, you may send a substitute from your company in your place.

A member is allowed six absences every six months. If you miss more than this without prior approval, your member classification is subject to being opened by the Leadership Team or Membership Committee.

There are no "leaves of absence" from HANA except for medical leave. A member may take up to eight weeks medical leave with the Membership Committee's prior approval if their fees are prepaid for that period of time and they attempt to have someone fill in for them during their leave.

HANA grows when members show up fully and on time, invite others to join consistently, and follow-up and follow through in delivering referrals and setting up one-on-one visits with other group members.
